Welcome to the 2021 Microsoft Office Specialist World Online Championship
The Microsoft Office Specialist World Online Championship presented by Certiport, a business of NCS Pearson, Inc. is a global competition that tests students’ skills on Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Top students are invited to represent their respective countries at the World Championship. In some countries or regions, students are required to participate in a National Championship, and the winners of that event continue on to the World Championship.
Participating in this competition provides an excellent opportunity for students to showcase and prove their Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills, have some fun, impress student colleagues, and gain recognition.

When is the 2021 MOS World Online Championship?
The 2021 MOS World Online Championship will take place November 9-11, 2021. Students will compete around the globe on different dates and times to accommodate for time differences. Students participating in the competition will be asked to complete a knowledge-based exam and a project. The scores will be compiled and the top 3 finishers in each exam track will take home the below prizes!
What can students win?
There are six categories, Microsoft PowerPoint 2016 and 2019/365 Apps, Microsoft Excel 2016 and 2019/365 Apps and Microsoft Word 2016 and 2019/365 Apps. The first, second, and third place winner in each category will win the following prizes.

Awards Ceremony
On Monday, November 15, 2021, Certiport will publicly announce the 2021 Microsoft Office Specialist World Online Championship winners at an awards ceremony that can be viewed online. The link for the awards ceremony will be shared via social media, on the Certiport website, and on this website leading up to the virtual awards ceremony.
